Stage 2 Curtailment Ended

The well is back online. The voluntary curtailment is lifted, but it doesn't hurt to remember that we are still in a drought. So far, rain has not come despite the threatening skies. Be cognizant of leaving water running. Make sure your irrigation system is working correctly. A lot of water can be lost through a blown sprinkler head. There is a temporary/emergency rate increase of $1 per thousand to help cover the costs of purchasing all the needed water from VPWC. The rates will have to be adjusted on a permanent basis, but that will be duly noted for public comment. Thank you for your cooperation while we were in curtailment.
